The Implementation Strategy of Remal al Sharqiyah Tourism Master Plan

The Remal al Sharqiyah Tourism Master Plan accepts bid plans in Oman's North and South al Sharqiyah regions. The project is located in the Remal al Sharqiyah dunes. However, it presents a unique opportunity for companies seeking to make a name for themselves in the tourism industry. It is open to bids from qualified tourism development companies and presents a chance to create a destination.

In 2022, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) began working on a master plan for tourism projects in the dunes area. The following year, the Desert Tourism Forum 2023 was held to discuss and promote various aspects of desert tourism. These aspects include regulations, investment opportunities, cultural and social dimensions, and insights from Gulf experiences.

Moving forward to 2024, the bid to plan and organize the area will be opened on April 14. Furthermore, the aim is to avoid organizational, social, and environmental problems arising from the ad hoc approach.

The project presents an exciting opportunity for companies seeking to establish themselves in the tourism industry. Successful bidders will have the chance to work with a highly experienced team of professionals to create a destination that is truly unlike any other. This is a chance to make a lasting impact on the tourism industry in Oman and to leave a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.
