Technip Energies, JGC and NPCC announces the receipt of Limited NTP

Technip Energies, JGC, and NPCC have just announced that they have received an LNTP for ADNOC's Ruwais LNG Project in the UAE. This EPC project is located in Al Ruwais Industrial City, Abu Dhabi. It is a significant milestone for the companies. Also, the LNTP status marks the project's official start, and the three companies are excited to contribute their expertise. Year 1: Technip Energies, JGC, and NPCC received an LNTP from ADNOC for the Ruwais LNG Project in Abu Dhabi. However, early EPC activities commenced, and the project site was identified as Al Ruwais Industrial City.

Year 2 progress: Detailed engineering work has started. The project scope, which includes two natural gas liquefaction trains, has been finalized. Moreover, the total LNG production capacity has been set at 9.6 Mtpa.

Year 3 update: Procurement has started. The low-carbon project has been confirmed through environmental impact assessments. Furthermore, electric-driven motors are planned instead of gas turbines.

Year 4 Highlights: On-site construction begins for the LNG export facility. The project gains recognition as the first LNG plant in MENA to operate on clean power. Also, Adopting nuclear energy to power the plant sets a new benchmark for low-carbon intensity.

Year 5 update: The project continues to align with global natural gas demand and decarbonization trends, as highlighted in the progress reports.
